Chief Executive – MDS International
Raja Zia ur Rehman Khan, born on 23rd August 1984 in District Bhimber, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, is a seasoned professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the logistics and courier industry. He spent his early childhood in Karachi before his family permanently settled in Lahore, where he completed his early education.
He initiated his professional journey through his family-owned logistics business, which provided him with a strong practical foundation in operations and business management. He later served in the Pakistan Army for a brief period, an experience that contributed significantly to his discipline, leadership qualities, and structured approach to professional responsibilities.
His career in the logistics sector spans multiple reputable organisations. At Express Courier Link, he gained substantial experience managing banking sector clients at a national level, along with administrative responsibilities across the northern region. He further strengthened his professional capabilities at City Link Courier, an organisation that played a pivotal role in shaping his career. During this tenure, he developed expertise in telecommunications, corporate accounts, and multinational business operations.
On 1st August 2011, he joined Leopards Courier Services as Manager Sales in Islamabad. In this role, he successfully expanded business portfolios across banking, corporate, telecom, and multinational sectors through strategic business induction and relationship management.
In 2017, he was entrusted with a highly significant leadership role as Resident Director and Principal Officer for Azad Jammu & Kashmir at Leopards Courier. In this capacity, he ensured the smooth functioning of operations and maintained full administrative control across the entire region, implementing professional business standards and operational excellence.
He is also member of the Standing Committee on Postal and Courier Services at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), additionally, he holds membership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, demonstrating his engagement in policy and industry development.
Over an accomplished tenure of nearly 15 years with Leopards Courier, he served in a variety of senior roles encompassing both sales and administration. These positions included Head of Sales, Sales Head Islamabad, Key Accounts Head, Corporate Business Head, and Corporate Sales Head. On 1st February 2025, he was appointed Zonal Business Head Islamabad, a critical leadership position involving comprehensive operational and administrative responsibilities, marking one of the most senior roles within the organisation and the logistics industry.
Following almsot half a year of continued excellence, he was promoted to Regional Manager Printshop Business North. He concluded his long-standing and successful association with Leopards Courier in March 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, performance, and organisational growth.
Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated commitment, adaptability, and a results-driven approach. His ability to manage diverse roles and deliver measurable outcomes enabled him to achieve significant milestones and consistently meet and exceed management expectations.
After concluding his corporate career, he transitioned into entrepreneurship. He is currently a business partner and franchise owner at Chandni Chowk, Rawalpindi, one of the city’s most prominent commercial centres, where he operates his own logistics and courier business, leveraging his extensive industry experience.
In addition, he has re-established his involvement in the Auto Works business, originally founded in 2007. Due to prior professional commitments, he had temporarily stepped away from this venture. However, he is now actively managing and expanding this business in Islamabad with renewed focus and strategic direction.
